The website uses fixed font sizes, so that even though I instruct IE to View|Text Size|Largest, the text of the home page is still unreadably small to most older viewers (IE 6.x, 1600x1200, Windows 2000, large fonts).

The home page took a long time to load even with a DSL connection. A quick inspection showed that http://picturebin.com/picture/7.jpg was about 130KB, but could have been shrunken down to about 20KB without much noticeable degradation in quality.

The HTML layout has the "interesting" quality that if the browser window width shrinks too much, then the left (and then right) column seems to "disappear" (it's actually shoved down lower). Users normally expect the browser window to become horizontally scrollable if the window becomes narrower than the content.

I'm sorry, but the page isn't working right now.
