Question about emailing and legalityI recently resigned from my job at a company and have sent a few emails from fake hotmail accounts with some vulgar language.....I have not made an threats or referred to anyone directly. Can I get in trouble with the law for this. I total of about 10 emails were sent. I feel incredibly stupid and guilty, but I was very bitter at the time. Anyways, can anyone shed any light on the topic

Harassment can be the only thing here I see that would be a problem. I would send the person an e-mail and tell him you were sorry.
If you left for a good reason, and this reason was good enough for you to get mad (lets say he did something illegal, and you left for it) then he wouldn't take this matter to court. __________________

I don't think it's a serious offense, no. I know that it's not enough to get a restraining order. Hell, you could send death threats and it isn't enough to get a restraining order. Anyways, I think you're ok. Don't worry too much about it. Just try to remember in the future that two wrongs never make a right, even if the first wrong was really REALLY wrong :-P
