Preventing people from creating a .htaccess fileHi everyone! I'm planning to start a small web hosting service with apache using FTP or PHP upload. But there's one thing that bothers my mind. I don't want my future users to upload .htaccess files into the server so that Apache will not parse them which degrades the performance. Is there any way to prevent people from uploading .htaccess files? Thanks in advance.

the best thing is just to limit the thing that the users can do with the .htaccess file
Options None i think, not sure tho even on my old 90MHz computer I didn't notice that there was a .htaccess file or not shouldn't be a problem performance wise, with a small service |
