OKAY I HAVE A CD WRITER... IT WAS WORKING PERFECT WITH ROXIO AND THEN I DOWNLOADED NERO...SO I COULD CHANGE MY PROGRAM...NOW ITS NOT EVEN DETECTING MY DVD DRIVE AT ALL...AND MY CD ROM IS SCRWED TOO... IT 0NLY PLAYS CDS WHEN I GO IN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER OR REAL... I DNOT KNOW WHAT TOO DO AND I THINK ITS CAZ OF NERO.. I TRIED DELTING NERO BUT ITS STILL NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM...

Why did you download Nero? Was Roxio getting boring? Maybe you got an old version of Nero.. I would figure you could play cds, since all you changed was the CD writing prog. The problem obvioulsy is Nero, or something Nero changed. You tried Roxio again, right?

I d/led nero caz i wanted to copy a dvd...of course that didnt work but i still continued to use nero for a few days for my trial with it... i used it only to burn two cds. I can play cds but my computer doesn't dectect the cds automatically by itself anymore and ive tried to delete nero and go back to roxio its just that roxio doesnt even detect my cd burner anymore...??:S its messed
