ntdlri dont know what that is or how to spell it correctly but that keeps poping up everytime i try to turn my computer one with windows xp installed and i dont know what to do it wont let me get through it. it says ntdlr not found please restart

That means that the disk you are trying to boot from isn't bootable, i.e. it's missing the ntldr (nt loader). Have you a floppy stuck in the A drive?
You'll need your XP install disk to fix this. Boot from the CD to the Recovery Console, and type "fixboot". If this doesn't work, you could do the same - this time typing "fixmbr". Useful link: www.microsoft.com If you don't have the install disk handy, you can make an equivalent using floppys - but you need a util off the Microsoft website. Good luck! GF |
