KL is a nice city with nice people like me. Actually we are developing into a cyber world and of course there are many oppurtunities especially if you have incredeble knowledge and experience, if not, you have to start from low below like me. Its not easy to get a job here there are lots of graduates unemployed but its not because of lack of job, but their just not competent enough to take the challenge. well somebody is going to get angry(if they read this)... ??:

anyway, you are welcome mach, call me when you get here.
//where are you from mach??

I'd like to know what KL is. And in case I don't recognize it, where? The only KL I know is Kalamazoo, and we call it Kazoo.... honestly -- used to live there.

[edit]Oh, I think I remember -- Kuala Lampur or something like that. Still don't know where it is though.[/edit]

JdS will become famous soon enough
Yes, KL is plain ol' Kuala Lumpur - capital of Malaysia and my home town

The city with this and where you can still find buildings like this.

What is KL like? That's hard to say, but in my line of work, I've met MANY expatriates and not one of them ever complained. Infact many ended up getting married to Malaysians and remain in the country as permanent residents. Most of the expats I know are Europeans though... and not in the IT field.

Local people are warm and generally nice. So you will be made to feel very at home, very quickly.

i'm in Houston, Texas, i hate the damn weather here! half the year it rains, half the year it's unbearably hot, and it has hailed twice this month!
Like yesterday it was very bright and sunny and i said %%^% damnit its too hot and bright, and then in 1 hour it got dark and rainy but it was still hot. Also today when i woke up it was dark and rainy. I HATE TEXAS. It is having an adverse effect on my brain. When it's too hot i get very angry and pissed off and start yelling and cursing at ppl. When it's too bright i get all happy for 5 minutes but then i get mad cuz it's also hot when it's bright... When it's dark and rainy i get all depressed and suicidal and when it hails i just feel like hurting someone or myself by just walking out in the hail...
Like there isn't a lot of &$#% in life to worry about i have to go thru this crazy weather which has had a rather gruesome effect on my personality. I can only imagine what women in texas feel like since they have to worry bout PMS atleast a couple days in a month in addition to the weather and also being ugly and stupid. Don't ever move to texas. I've been in texas for 8 years and i believe that i'm much more retarded than before. Imagine what living in texas for decades could do to you! Imagine being born here! Imagine having an entire generation of family members who were born here! The possibilities are endless.
i'm thinking about moving to a cold region or something...

WOW! That is the second time today that I have seen great bitterness on your part! Are you having a bad day or what!

Also, I hope that no one else is from Texas around these forums.

I'm with you on the heat though. I can not stand the heat! And I live in the freaking desert! Actually I do like the winters here.

I can help cure you of liking winters. Come up to Minnesota in October and stay until April/May! The heat won't seem all that bad! ??:

yep I heard great things about Kuala Lumpur. I personal have never thought of leaving the US. My biggest thing that I would like to know about other country if I ever decided to move would be the Government and how would my freedoms change. But then again that may just be me I've always been a little weary of governments. But over all I have heard good things nice place.
