I don't think this is the best free web host. You must be above 13 years old and I also saw address fields..

although this could be the perfect host for some, it does not seem like quality...
I was not able to find the 100Mb space within afew clicks.. still haven't found it

Good question.

A couple things I just noticed (I just saw your post):
1) It required the www. in front of the domain name -- that's a little strange in today's market
2) with all the heat on popups, they use them for their site tour. I have to fire up IE just to look at the tour. And I hate IE!

hmm, when I tried to signup, only tried. not clicking an confirm url or something, if that exists

requirements:
3. Setup www.forexample.com to point to ip # (127.0.0.1).

but this happens:
Host name test.xxx doesn't point to Free Web Town server (198.78.81.43)

pointing my domain to 127.0.0.1 is funny. it is also a pre-requirement, how can you know that your domain should already point to this server..

just signedup with the directory option..
and after I clicked submit I was loggedin, but I only got forwarded to the frontpage..

the good thing is that they don't use safe-mode, but that is a bad thing for such a free host..

abuse abuse abuse, can't find other words for it

I'm seeing the site currently looks like they're out of the beta test period. I guess they have relaunched. www.freewebtown.com

I do now notice 3rd party (read commercial) banner ads posted on their site... these weren't there before but (one second to check)...

Actually, the user sites do NOT have banners (interesting!) but the main site (and I guess the admin/support/etc... public pages) have banner ads. Looks kind of different than it used to be. I had a site on there a long time ago, but now it looks much improved. Any others with a comment?
