Guys!! Help with CD Burner plzzzz!!!!!

Comic
Hi, my computer is reasonably new (3-4 months) and I have been trying to burn audio CDs on Nero 6. something. It burns ok, and when I play it it's fine until about the 7th or 8th track where it starts to go all fuzzy and distorted for the following tracks and some of them won't even play. What is wrong?? I have tried different types of CDs, I have tried using windows media but it does the same thing, and i'm not sure what else to do!!?!?!?! ??: ??:

JdS will become famous soon enough
Hi Kimbo,

If your computer (parts) is just 3 - 4 months old, don't waste your time on forums. Take it back to the shop and show them the problem - THIS is the time to use your warranty before it runs out!

I agree with JdS and if you have tried different CD and burning programs then I would say that it's more than likely the hardware anywise.

I had a similar problem with burning audio CDs. What ultimately helped me was cleaning of my cd burner (do it at your own risk though). If you think it's too risky, try first burning/creating cd image to disk and then burn it to CD-R.

whatever you do, do not open your computer case, otherwise your warranty will be void. just take it back to the people you bought it from. Unless you built it
