I have created a Director/shockewave file and published it as both an .exe file and a web ready .html/.dcr file ... problem is the html/dcr files work fine in my computers browser - until I up-load them to the web.

I have a music file and a seperate quicktime movie in this Director file and the movie will not play on-line, but the music track plays no probs. One attempt I have made is to up-load the QT movie also, but the first frame just sits there ... the music streams, but no movie plays (on-line).

Once again, this works fine in my browser from my hard drive, but not on-line.

Anyone worked with Director/Shockwave and come across this problem? Is it a QT streaming thing? Are there commands I need to change in the Director movie publishing options? Should I use 'lingo'?

Additionally, I want to burn the .exe file to CD as an auto-run file ... I have included an .inf command (idea taken from a tutorial) but it doesn't seem to work .... Any help on how to do this appreciated ...

this may be a dumb question but is your server configured to handle the correct mime-type?
