Power Calibration Error when burning Cd's
Not sure if I should have posted as reply or new post, but here goes. I'm usually everyone else's guru, but now I am lost. My system is AMD Athlon 1002 Mhz, 128 MB ram, Windows ME.. cdrw is WPI cdrw-8432i. I've ran that with no problems using Nero for my burns for 3 years. I upgraded to xp and hated everything about it and formatted with all the hardships and finally made it back to ME. After getting everything back to normal (so I thought), everything has worked fine for about 2 months, I tried to burn an audio cd three days ago and got the "power calibration error". I've read many newsgroups and done what they all said... tried different burning software, tried slower speeds, disconnected and reconnected and reinstalled drivers, even changed burners with an identical one from another computer, but all to no avail. Doea anyone have ANY ideas that I may not have tried? I have checked the bios for something amiss but didn't see anything out of whack there.. I don't know what else to do. HELP!!! please. Sending answers to my email is ok. Thanks for any help.... Ironlace
