Hello when i try to go onto the internet,i get an error message that reads ----the modum is not connected or the modum is not configured. can someone please tell me how to configure my modum ? using windows 98 dial up .

Try looking at the network connections tab and add a new connection.

Also replace the current modem card with another one and see if that one works. If that one works, it is most likely a hardware problem (with the other modem card).
