CSS3 or Images?I have seen the power of HTML5 and CSS3.
Some websites doesn't have images along with the website, eg. logos, background, navigation menu, etc. All are created using CSS3 and HTML5. Just a quick quickie (i mean quick question... hehe..), i understand that style sheets are rendered with the webpage using the browser, whereas images are loaded from the server providing the website. Am i partially correct to argue that it will sort of improve loading time of a webpage if no image files are used in the webpage? To add to it, CSS3 along with some javascript libraries like jQuery or Tojo provides the flexibility of rendering the rendering during "runtime". Currently i'm having a few projects in hand, i'm cool at programming, however i lack the creative (rather artistic) mind to make my website beautiful. I have written pure HTML code for it, but i need to add the CSS to beautify it. Any great ideas to dig out the artistic part of my brain? I tried browsing alot of website or photoshop tutorials to get inspirations, however i still can make it beautiful. I'm really bad at blending colors. Cheers! |

Re: CSS3 or Images? Our main corporate website has been built on HTML5 and we are quite happy about it. The new website we do are HTML5/CSS3 based projects. It is easier to manage them and they are SEO friendly.

Re: CSS3 or Images?I agree with Richard, although disabled. Depending on the images, the method that they are contained in could by quicker.
