Signature goneI had a signature with this user ... but while I was gone ... so is the signature.
Tried to look for the rules but did not found it. Also notice that user with less posts them have signatures. So ... any clues? |

Re: Signature goneYour signature posting privileges are also tied to your REP (reputation) points, not only post counts. When you lose REP points, you start losing posting privileges here.

Re: Signature goneI understand. So this reputation ... how is restored: good post or just with passing time and no other reputation lose?

Re: Signature goneThe average person who is here only to spam would have moved on by now but since you have enquired further, I must now assume that that was not your intention.
To answer your question: REP points are gained only by genuinely sharing information i.e. your message is useful, helpful, and relevant. So you see, it is quite hard to gain anything here if your intention was anything but to share your knowledge with the group. Oh! And as many have also found out, copying/cutting and pasting whole articles from other web sites here will not get you anything either. Once you lose your REP points here at GIDForums, it is nearly impossible to get it back... unless you are, like I said, someone who has a bit of knowledge to share. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. |
