I was wondering how hard it would be to make a computer version of the board game Risk (AI not supported), and what particular aspects of the C language would be the most critical in making such a game?

You could easily use everything C++ has to offer in that kind of a game. Making that game would be a hefty project for one person...

if u write a small or basic game like pacman, snack or tic tac to is easy
but is u write more complicated game like utopia
u need more knowledge about the algorithms
i suggest u use C++
cause most of the algorithm written in C++
