A good C IDE?Hi again,
Just wanted to ask you folks if you know of a good, free (or relatively inexpensive) IDE for C. I'm using BloodShed right now, but can't get the Debug tools to work for the life of me. I know "printf" is great, but I would really like a "watch" window, and a real-time updation of data. If something comes to your mind, please do let me know. Thank you! |

I can't name a free one, but if you want a combo IDE (C, C++, & Java), try Metrowerks. The academic version is about $50, which isn't too bad for a combo product. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you can find a decent open-source version for what you need.
