Minimizing/maximizing layersI would like to find the code that minimizes and maximizes a (layer) I think. As in this site, you can minimize tables. Does anyone have the simple code on how to do this?

Can you explain some more about what you specifically would like to do? Maybe an example somewhere would help...

I had to think for a bit but I am assuming you're asking about the collapsible/expandable tables on some areas off this forum?
If yes, I remember I was fooling around with this idea a while back... there's even a thread about it in here somewhere - let me find it for you: http://www.gidforums.com/t-467.html. Let us know if that was NOT it __________________

yes that is similar. Recently I have managed to pinpoint the script in the vbulletin_global.js external script file used by this site. Now I know this is a naughty thing to do, but if I was to leave the vbulletin copywrite comments intact within the script file, would I be able to use the same code?

I have not looked at the vbulletin js file except to add one custom function of my own if I recall.
Anyway, this idea existed LONG before the guys at vbulletin decided to include it in their latest version here, so I am sure there exists GPL versions of the javascript elsewhere. Otherwise, you'd have to ask the people at vbulletin yourself - I cannot speak for them. __________________
