nickbeee is on a distinguished road
I'm currently using Photoshop 5.0 under W98 for aquiring images from my colour negative scanner. I'm thinking of upgrading to V6, what are the web graphics facilities like?
Was PS6 used for the navigation bars and buttons on this site?

Nick,
You do have several other options as far as graphics goes, including macromedia Fireworks (I use Fireworks), but I personaly recommend PS6.

JdS will become famous soon enough
yes, all graphics here are made with PS 6 but to be honest, anyone can come out with the same thing using PS 5.x. it's in the technique, NOT the version of the software.

also, until today, i cannot tell u one single improvement of PS6 over PS5.x that will absolutely require u to upgrade except that the tools are more intuitive to what u intend to do with ur graphics.

spend ur hard-earned money on those popular plug-ins instead (e.g. eyecandy, extensis, etc)! they really make a difference, believe me.

this may interest other ppl reading this, u can install PhotoShop 6 on win98 but NOT on win95!
