[Review] Design Estimate Form

I have just finished my estimate form that people will come to from a page about my design services. Location: mrbobdouglas.com/test/index.htm (Click on free estimate)

This would be the first step that these clients do before getting started. That is why there is a substantial amount of questions. Almost every question will need to have an answer at some point.

If the client does not fill in the question, then I will have to ask it later.

Does the form have too many questions?
Should I add anymore questions to it?
Anything I should arrange differently?

How does the form look?

I tried the form, and IF I really had some work for you, yes, I'd appreciate the form as it is. It allows me to add just enough information and the opportunity to add additional information at the right spots.

I couldn't think of any.

Good, I found it very easy to follow.

No. I think you explain very well to answer as many as they can, but they can leave a field blank. I thought the list of possible competitors web-sites was an excellent idea.

Should I add anymore questions to it?
Not right now. It seems pretty complete.

Anything I should arrange differently?
I am sure that you have your reasons, but I am not a big fan of popups. On my browser (mozilla), I got a popup window that was tiny and had to expand it myself. Not a huge deal.

How does the form look?
Overall, it looks very good. However with Mozilla there was some visual hiccups it appears. I have included a screen shot.

- Thanks for the feedback. The form was sucessfully submitted via e-mail to me
Did you take a look at the confirmation page? I thought that was pretty neat.

- Yikes!! I don't have that problem with Mozilla over here. I am on FireFox 0.8 1024x768.
What browser and screen resolution are you using? I am going to get a few more people to take a look at it.

Also, could you go back and try it again?

Yeah, that is one of the thing I LOVE about FP forms.

Did you get the same problem dsmith was getting? So far he is the only one who has brought this to my attention. I can't seem to get it either.

Nope, I didn't see anything particularly wrong with the pages myself... and I viewed the pages with Firefox as well! Don't know why Mozilla would render the page differently...

Hi, Bobby.

I tried again with the same result. I am using Mozilla 1.5 under Linux with a screen resolution of 1920x1200.

I wouldn't worry too much about it unless someone else has a similar problem. It may be some strange thing to do with my particular setup. When I boot into windows, I will try it again and let you know if it is different.

Bobby,
looks good under windows using Mozilla 1.6. It also comes up in a non-resizeable window of the appropriate size. This is not the case under linux. Not only is the window resizeable, but you need to resize it as it comes up tiny.

I am not sure if this is an issue under Mozilla 1.5 or Linux. My guess would be Linux.

HOLY #%&@! 1920x1200!! That is crazy man. Maybe it comes up small because of your VERY high resolution.

Will you goto mrbobdouglas[.]com and then goto the Contact Us page, and then click on the feedback form, let me know if that has the same problems.

I think the page is mrbobdouglas[.]com/contact_us.php, and then click on the contact us form, or feedback form. I can't open a new window on this computer so I can't give the exact link right this second.
