UML for template class

Currently i'm preparing a design document. My classes are design using C++ template. I searched google and not found any useful information about UML for templates. I wonder if anyone of members here had some idea how to do it?
I'm using MS visio. Maybe can rekon me a better and easier tool than visio.

In my first attempt, I found:

http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc...10.1.1.38.6415

...because my Mac converted it to PDF and displayed it using the built-in "Preview" application, I was able to save it off as a PDF. This capability is also available to Linux and other Unix variants and Windows, too, but not "natively."

The PDF may be just what you're looking for...while it is undoubtedly (implicitly at least) copyrighted, I believe that it is intended to be shared. Note that it is specific to the STL, but the power of templates is well realized by the STL, so it may be of some help.

Perhaps I'd recommend Umbrello as a better-than-Visio tool for UML?

Re: UML for template class

Thanks for the info. However the ref is too complex for me. My design is just with a template parameter of primitive type for float or double only and probability fixed-point (once i finish it...lolz).
