Has anyone here used http://www.bravehost.com? I've found it fairly good, but I don't have a lot of experience with hosting, so I don't have much of a frame of reference.

It depends, if you just want to put up a web page or 2, I guess bravehost might be good enough (God knows they've been around for quite a while - which is good).

However, I haven't visited their site in ages and don't know what else they support within their free hosting offer to critique it - on second thoughts, I'll take a quick look...

Well, it's okay if you just want to build your FIRST few web pages, but if you're in this to learn a scripting language, you're going to either have to look elsewhere or pay up!

- Yes they have. They were alive back when Geocities had the different "areas" of hosting. Like "Lighting Zone" or "Space Arena". Then had the numbers like 1029, 1050. (If anyone still remembers that)

Just a couple of personal pages, messing about with some html. Nothing serious. It sounds like it's got a solid enough rep, so I'll go with bravehost.
