.mim ??What are .MIM files? Can one contain viruses?

MIM = MIME encoded file
Not sure if this type can as I don't know alot about MIME but most any file can contain a virus. As you can see this virus spoof the from field so it may be easly mistaken for a MIM and not be. Your best bet is to use something like Norton and scan the file before you open it. Quote:
