[You Decide] - What is the colour for Member: Level 5

In case you haven't even noticed the different colours used to display the members' usernames, now is a good time to concentrate

So... here's what we have set up to-date:

Member: Level 1 through 2 are this Default Blue.
Member: Level 3 through 4 are Purple.

What happens to -
Member: Level 5 through 6 ?

Please give me some suggestions... I have looked at the colour chart long enough and STILL can't decide.

Well, since red is supermods, and green is mods.

I think the only color really left is a dark cyan. Using CS2's excellent color selector, I think Dark Hard Cyan (00CCCC) may be an option...

Thank you dsmith.

I was thinking, while we're thinking about this - maybe we should revamp the whole colour scheme; I mean re-code the colours for all member levels? I am open for suggestions...

Does this mean that
A) each post by each member will be a different color?
B) based on your level the entire site will be a different color?
If A, I feel it's going to make the site look cheap personally. It'll look like Al's shirt from Tool Time.
If B, I'm not sure what the point would be? The color sceme won't actually mean anything to the user.
If C, I have no comment yet

Or are you simply talking about the names alone being colored?

Hey, I'm purple! Kool!

He is just talking about the names (at least I think). I rather enjoy this.

And actually J, a total change might be pretty cool. I notice now that you use italics. Is this something that you still wanted to use? It might be kind of cool if the levels went through a spectrum. Leave the sup-mod at red though.

Maybe start at:
Deep Sky Blue

and advance to:
Dark Red?

Are you planning on adding more levels?

This is just a collection of random thoughts really. I have absolutely NO style sense (just ask my wife), but I love the idea.

dsmith, once again you've read my mind... I was thinking the same thing i.e. do it using a spectrum of sorts. I didn't really fancy the italics much either. Yes, of course more LEVELS have to be added since there are members who will qualify soon enough.

WaltP, yes, it's C.

I don't really care if that means having to change the colours for the TEAM members as well.
