MSN Messenger SPAM!

Can someone explain this message box for me.

I had MSN Messenger open. The "new wave of popups" suck!

cs2 will become famous soon enough
That's not MSN Messenger, that's the built-in (to Windows) Messenger "service." It serves no purpose on a non-networked machine.

Either manually disable it from starting (via Control Panel), or toggle it with Shoot The Messenger.

Yeah I see a lot of companies trying to make money selling software that will stop this "messenger" spam. Talk about ripping off people....

Oh man, is this STILL happening???

I had a related problem with this issue a while back... the thread where we discussed it.
