PayPal Fined

Our dealings with PayPal have been nothing but good, but apparently not everyone has shared that experience...
http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/03/08/paypal.fined.ap/

Anyone have PayPal stories of their own to share -- good or bad? In particular, I'd be curious if anyone has seen a change in level of service since they were acquired by eBay.

Thumbs up

Thumbs up for us BUT:
Read this before it is to late.

news.com.com

I thought this would never happen to me. Now PayPal has cancled my account and put limited access on it. Now I can not get any money out of my account. The money is ACCUALY in a Money Market Fund. This is what their policies say about this.

"If you enroll in the Money Market Fund, PayPal's subsidiary PayPal Asset Management Inc. will act as your agent to transfer any U.S. Dollar balance in your PayPal account on a daily basis to purchase shares in the Money Market Fund. Thereafter, payments that you send through PayPal will be funded by a redemption of your shares in the Money Market Fund. For more information on the Money Market Fund, please review the prospectus."

This is what prospects reads: Unlike checking accounts, money market funds are neither insured nor guaranteed by the FDIC or any other government agency. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 USD per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Fund. Distributed by Funds Distributor, Inc. To learn more about the Fund and its expenses, read the prospectus carefully.

The PayPal Money Market Fund is an easy to use investment option for users. We partner in the Fund with Barclays Global Investors to bring you the expertise of one of the world's largest and most experienced money managers.

The results? According to iMoneyNet, the Fund currently outranks 297 investment companies as the nation's highest yielding retail prime money fund.* Plus, PayPal requires no minimum investment in the Fund, and we put no limits on withdrawals.
The PayPal Money Market Fund invests in high-quality, short-term securities-like U.S. Treasury bills or notes-that emphasize attractive yields combined with safety of money.

CAN PAYPAL LEGALY HOLD YOUR MONEY AND NOT GIVE YOU ACCESS TO IT IF IT IS INVISTED IN THE MONEY MARKET FUND? THEY CAN MAKE YOU LOSE MONEY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE FUNDS!!

Lets put it this way I told PayPal that closing my account was unjustified. Why? Because I was a victom of a Hacker. I also told them that I had evidence that they were conducting illegal activite and if they would not send me the money that is in my account I would let the public know about this illegal activite. Can You Guess What this illegal activate is? One hint it is in the above paragraph!!

Now Wells Fargo is proccessing Credit Cards For PayPal follow the link to read about it.

news.com.com

After Wells Fargo finds out about this illegal activate they will not want to proccess Credit Cards for PayPal and nobody else will take the risk including Master and Visa. PayPal will be forced to close their Doors.

Now finally we got the evidence to shut down PayPal and stop them from scamming everyone and conducting illegal activites and reaping everybody off.

Now lets join together with a Class Action Law Suit against PayPal and get our money back......

Ignore all negative comments to this Public Notice it will probably be PayPal playing their games. They are known for it.
