Analyse audio in CCould anyone help me. I am trying to analyse audio signals in C but i don't know where to start or what to do. I have come to realise that wav is not the best way to record a signal and i'm hoping that there is already a program or audio type that can be easily made use of.
Thank you very much. duncan |

That's true. mmm. Well what i'm interested in doing is getting a audio signal into C and analysing it. I seem to be hitting a brick wall wherever i try.

When you say, "getting a audio signal into C," do you mean, "How can I use the sound card on my computer to get audio samples into a file, which I can then process with a C program?"
If that's what you are asking, I suggest googling (or whatever the verb form of your favorite search engine is) "sound card programming". Dave |
