Hello I'm having a MPEG playblack problem as well, my problem is every mpeg or mpg, or dvd (vob), all have this grain effect or something..down below is a picture from a DVD that I have. every other video format plays fine ie avi, mkv etc..but just mpeg im having this issue. I've never had it before and now I do.

I was using k-lite package and I've uninstalled the codec part but I still have the player, I have vlc player, and most importantly its all doing this in editing programs so thats a huge problem for me. I'm now using Nvidia's Purevideo Decoder as Default, but the problem is still there. so playback is an issue, converting from whatever to mpeg is an issue, then encoding to mpeg the issue still persists, what must I do ?
