Hiding console and SFML (2 diff questions).Hey.. I've a couple of things that I hope someone can help me with!
Firstly hiding the console window, showing only the GUI. I have searched and this is the only thread I could find on the matter: www.gidforums.com EDIT: I don't seem to be able to post links so this is the text of the thead URL: /t-6593.html I'm compiling with VC2005 and these solutions do not work for me, I AM using debug build of both FLTK and my own project, would this make a difference? When using WinMain I just get a symbol error, I have read on some of the FLTK documentation that this only works with static linking? Though I must admit, I don't know much about linking nor if I am doing it correctly, I have based my project off a sample so it's using the same configuration (they also show the console window). I really need to get rid of it if possible! Secondly, I was wondering about FLTK + SFML (sfml-dev.org) I would like to know if anyone ever tried/suceeded in making these two libraries working together~ I'm building an image viewing program with some basic animation/manipulation features, now I know FLTK has good OpenGL integration but I don't know much about OpenGL, would that be a good choice for the type of thing I'm trying to do (failing the SMFL support)? Sorry for straying of the forum topic a bit, I hope someone can help me with either issue~~~ Thanks~ >D |

Re: Hiding console and SFML (2 diff questions). The console problem is fixed now, I built everything in release with subsystem: windows and it works.
I'd still appreciate some advice with SFML/OpenGL/any other suggestions =) |
