Driver model for image acquisition deviceHi all, my problem is that i need some Image Acquisition Toolbox for my MATLab, but i didn't purchase one. So one way i can think of is to create some DLLs so that MATLab can acquire images from devices like PCI frame-grabbers, USB webcam, USB camcorder..... etc.
I need some advice as to how can i get device information particular to the image acquisition devices. Windows DDK, directX, directShow?? What can i start with? I saw some openCV make use of the VFW. There's one already in MATLab file exchange http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/247 Sorry if you feel its out of the forum's topic. But my main concern is developing the C/C++ portion for the DLLs. Thanks in advance!! |
