Whats the most infected machine you've dealt with? A friend asked me to look at their slow running machine, running Win95 without firewall or antivirus protection(!). Norton AV 2004 found 69 infections, adaware 6 found 320 items! Is this a record? She now has XP Pro with the firewall on, Sygate Firewall and NAV 2004.

I ran adaware on my brother's computer and found over 600 items!

The 'Typhoid Mary' of the pc world!

A few years ago i found over 150 virus infected files on my brothers computer.
And ive seen a screenshot of adaware with 4500 (iirc) things found in it.

I guess what I have to say is quite boring then... I only found 1 virus at any one time and that has only happened less than five times in all the time I have been using a computer.

The one that left me traumatised quite a bit is that damn SubSeven trojan. I think the parasite was on my PC for almost a month before I found it... and those were the days I was heavily into ICQ and other IM stuff. Since then, I have NEVER instant messaged anyone ever again...
