Query about source editing software?Hi all, firstly i'm sorry if i post on the wrong section. Has anyone heard about Source Insight?? Its a pretty good software to use for large programs.
I was wondering if there's any similar or better software. It'll be even better if its open source or free. If there is a open source one, i would be keen to join in the developement, otherwise i may consider starting one........ initially a very basic one for C/C++ source files. Programming Languages to consider: 1.) C/C++ 2.) C#.Net 3.) PHP 4.) Java (I probably will not consider this due to too much overhead) Initially i was considering C#.Net but i would like it to be platform independant. Any comments or suggestions are warmly welcomed!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!! |

Notepad++ is good for Windows-based users. SlickEdit is really good for multiplatforms, but is not free. QtCreator is good for multiplatforms, and is free, but C++/Qt centric. MxB |
