Links and E-mail addresses in forum vs spam botsHTML Code:
For the forum code here to display a link, why have the '<a hr' + 'ef="' part if you are still going to include the http://www.domain.com part, and even when you have the <noscript> part that displays the link: http://www.domain.com, spam bots will still pick it up. Why not just have the forum have another way of using javascript to display the links here? Also, what about displaying e-mail addresses? Maybe someone could write a mod that will make it so e-mail addresses are not seen in the code as well. __________________

Even though domain.com is a single string, I don't think bots are able to follow these js links.
OTOH, the links in the sigs are pure html. |
