Hi

i am in an urgent situation here. i have a dual proc 1.6athlon system running xp home. 256 meg ram and 2 32 meg video cards, one agp one pci.

i have had this problem before and i don't know how to fix it.

when i reboot hte computer, the monitors turn off completely (ie: normal standby mode) but then when the computer boots up the monitors stay off. i have to unplug the computer and leave it off for about 5 minutes and even then it doest always work. at the moment i am trying to work (video editing) and i can't keep having to wait for time to pass before my computer decides its ready to turn the monitors back on.

i am using nvidia drivers the latest ones, but still no dice.

if anyone can help me out, please let me know asap
