New CaseMy new Case, i bought it from this dude for NZ$90 inc postage..
The case includes a 400Wt Whisper Enermax PSU. the pictures are link to the previous owner of the case website.. ![]() ![]() It started with the audio plugs in the front, progressed to fan control switches, then Blue side panels, and finally a perspex window. Case stats 3x 5 1/2" bays 4x 3 1/2" bays (2 exposed) ATX form factor PSU sits above motherboard space removable sides and front panel/bezel Soft on/off, reset and sleep/standby buttons. Mods: 2x 80mm fans (1 intake @ front, one exaust by the CPU) 1x PCI cooling fan Double audio plug at front of case 2x front USB ports 2x pot resistors + switch for fan control Perspex window Paint side panels Blue Thumb screws on side panels ![]() The front panel consists of: 1) 2 audio plugs - the plugs are connected to each other and plug into the soundcard at the back of the case. The plugs can be used so 2 headphonse can be pluged in, or so a second input (e.g. CD player/radio) can be listened to at the same time as the sound coming out of the PC. 2) A variable pot resistor running off a 12volt rail (from the PSU). Controls the front and back 80mm intake fans. The fans can be turned down (pot resistor set to max.) so it is quiet when I sleep. 3) A variable resistor with a switch. (same as number 2. but can be switched off aswell) This is connected to a PCI fan right underneath the videocard, providing a out take so the video card stays nice and cool. The Side panels ![]() ![]() The side panels Screw in (2 thumbscrews on the back of each side) and can be taken off without having to remove the top (top is rivited on). They are spraypainted Dark blue enamel colour. The window is 3mm perspex behind the side panel, which has the circular hole cut in with rubber lining. The glass is held stuck in place with some foam tape (easy to take off if ever required). The opposite side also has 2 USB plug holes hacked into the front bezel. They connect via a USB cable to the motherboard (usually the cable fits round the back in a PCI expansion slot, but i haxed it up so it would fit), using the 2 extra mobo USB ports, and giving easy access. |

hey u all got nice cases, but nothing can beat a good aluminium coolermaster case! check out http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ for a good range of their cases. my cost £120 but it was well worth it with removable motherboard tray, 4 fans in case, and 2 in power supply!! and i must agree that antec is much nicer black - but it does look like a beast wouldnt u say!!
