I'm building a site right now where I'm allowing retailers to sell items , think etsy.com.

I don't want any part in the transaction between the seller and buyer. I do want to track it though, so I can charge a percent. I want to let sellers enter the info for thier merchhant accounts, and sned the requests myself, so that the buyer is paying the seller directly, but i know how much was spent.

The only option I see now is me sending to each merchant account I allow and writing custom code for each one. I'm wondering if maybe there is a service that I can pass info to including merchant account type, API Key etc and they will direct the transaction tothe appropriate merchant account and process the transaction, returning to me the transaction code etc.


HAs anyone heard of a service like this? Any positive/negative experiences?)

Essentially I want the seller to sign up on my site and provide the information for a merchant account that they own, connected to their bank account. When someone buys something, I want my site to communicate with that merchant account. Since it's my site, I will know the amount and if it is approved etc, but the transaction is still between the buyer and seller.
