I just wonder if this is normal that I may not edit my signature and I cannot view my private messages? May be something's wrong with my account or i don't know something about rules of this forum?
When I login and try to edit or see my messages it says I don't have the permission to do that... then who else has this permissions?:-)

Yes, it's normal...

You get most of these 'options' when you get promoted to Member: Level 2. For you, that's just another post away...

I really should update the FAQ with all this information so I apologise for not doing it already.

I am sorry you feel that things are complicated for you here.

Many - but not all, these options are disabled to new members because of abuse in the past. For example, over the last few months, I have personally received MANY PMs from members who have just registered (without a single post) asking me to help them with some situation that was already being discussed in an existing thread. If this can happen to me, I think it can happen to many other regular and senior members.

So in a nutshell, yes it's complicated but only if you want to make it complicated. To the majority of the members who want to discuss and share their computer / web related problems on the forums, they don't even realise that such options are unavailable to them; and by the time they need the facility to PM, they are already at the next Level and are able to do so.

Signatures are restricted for another kind of abuse. The details of which I prefer not to disclose at the moment. It's not a big deal though, since all your previous threads will display your signature (see your first post up here) once you make it to the Level that allows your signatures to show.
