cannot connect to localhost ?hi,
I am new to apache server. I have installed apache 2.0 for windows from www.apache.org. I could install it successfully only after disabling IIS 5.0 server. I am using windows XP. The apache server is listening on port 80. however i am not able to browse anything. I tried to give localhost and localhost. but both the URLs are not work. Please help thanks |

if apache is listening on port 80 you should be able to connect, you can try http://127.0.0.1:80/
if that doesn't work you should take a look at apache error logs, located in apache_dir/logs/ those might have (recent) error messages |

Hello tppradeep18,
When you set up Apache, what did you change inside the httpd.conf file? Please post the relevant details off that file if you seriously want someone to help you. __________________
