Those beeps are the bios telling you that something is so wrong that the computer won't boot. See if you can find your motherboard documentation and it should tell you what the different number of beeps mean. From there, you can try to fix what is wrong...

Hello Bayoulord514,

I cannot recall the exact options in the bios because it is not something I'd like to do everyday BUT... I THINK what "clearing the CMOS" means is that there's always an option in the BIOS to reset everything to the FailSafe settings or something to that effect. Try that, you have nothing to lose... and good luck!

Do you have the old stick of memory? If you take the new one out and put the old one in does your computer boot?

Yes, if you put just 1 stick of the old memory in sd1 do you still get the beeps? You don't happen to have any documentation for your mother board do you? It may be telling you something else, but we would need the docs to see.
