Apache 2 Installation Issues [Was: Think I'm almost there, but....]

Hi,
First of all I'm a total apache newb so sorry if my questions have already been asked a million times. I did do some searchin, but I ended up back here.

I have succesfully installed apache 2 and have done the test page thing. I registered a domain name at "no-ip.com" and I entered that info when I installed apache. Not sure if I did that right however. Heres what I entered:
Domain name: koroko.no-ip.com
Server name: www.koroko.no-ip.com
Admin Email: 'My email address'
Is that right?

Next I made a folder in my documents called 'my web pages'. I then went into the notepad config file and set the directory to the same.

How do I get the URL for images/files etc that are in the 'my web pages' folder. I feel like I'm missing something here, so can you please help me out.

My aim is to use this PC to host a website and streaming video for download.

Thanks in advance for any replies and if you need more info on anything ,just tell me. *EDIT* By the way im using a lysys router with a cable connection.*EDIT*

Allowee has a spectacular aura about
the config seems correct, this means you should be able to access
http://localhost/ , where the 'my web pages' dir should be listed, or the index file in that directory

Nope, I get the"Seeing this instead of the website you expected?" page instead. maybe my ISP blocked port 80? whats an easy way to find out? Concerning my internet connection firewall, I clicked 'HTTP' under 'services allowed on this pc' so I dont think its that. I am running norton as well does that matter.?

your webserver is working, otherwise an error message will be displayed.

you will now need to edit httpd.conf
the best thing is to add this at the end:
Code:
NameVirtualHost * <VirtualHost *> servername localhost serveralias koroko.no-ip.com www.koroko.no-ip.com Documentroot "c:/your/path/my web pages/" </virtualHost>
I'm not 100% sure if this works, because on windows httpd.conf is a bit different...
