problems with animation

Hi,
I made an animation in fireworks, it is the letter M made out of triangles where each triangle flashes independantly. I tested it in fireworks and it works perfect. However when I put in my html code on my page (it sits on top of a graphic) it does not animate. I have tried saving it as a .gif, .jpeg., and .png. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? Thanks

JdS will become famous soon enough
In the "Save As..." area of graphics program, what are the listed format options? I am not certain about .PNG but you cannot save animations in .JPEG format.

Also, are you certain you have set your browser to show website image animations? It's a long shot, but something as simple as that may give you the effect that your animation didn't work.

The save as function only allows me to save as a .png. and I checked and my browser allows animations.

I don't think PNG can utilize the animations like GIFs do. Fireworks is only letting you save your animation in PNG format?

Something sounds fishy about that. Why dont you post the image somewhere for us to look at?

Found it....I had to do an export in fireworks to save it in .gif format, which I did and now it animates!
