GIDTopsites - my first PHP project!

It took me a while, but I FINALLY managed to complete at least ONE script I had planned from so long ago.

Introducing GIDTopsites...

The script is done for the most parts, (all anti-cheat thingies i could think off are in place... Andrew, correct me if I am wrong

).

I hope some of you can help me 'break-in' the script by registering/using it. If it works without problems, it might be a great script to have on your site one day - who knows?

thanks Giz, i see u've added ur site to the list.

few things i have to quickly add here. ur site won't show unless it's got at least 1 valid click-in... PLUS (the fact i have to approve the site and fix the email mess

)

it will only be valid if it's off a link from the domain name u submitted.

hope that makes sense...

Ok. Put in my first site.

I see the message "Your Registration was successful" but I also see the following near the top of the page:

Warning: Unable to jump to row 0 on MySQL result index 6 in /home/topsites/public_html/functions/fns_topsites.php on line 74

And when I click on the link to get my html code...I get

Warning: Unable to jump to row 0 on MySQL result index 4 in /home/topsites/public_html/functions/fns_topsites.php on line 74

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/topsites/public_html/functions/fns_topsites.php on line 49

I'll try entering mutiple sites right now.

thanks Div, u just gave me the details i cannot reproduce myself. (i never get this error when registering).

btw, your registration of both sites are not in the db... gimme another day and i'll figure out those error messages u posted.

ok, here's what happened... something happened to your username/email/password reg, (iow, the data never got into the db) and so the 2nd part where it tries to put your website details into the db just bombs.

i am going to fix a few lines which might take about 15 mins, appreciate it if either one of you would try again...

just when i thot i had figured it out, i found the real culprit

Code:

password($password)

would work if your password is ALL numbers (like mine)...

when it should have been

Code:

password('$password')

that would explain why i could get it to work while no one else could.. i think :-?
