2 Questions about HTML

1) I have put up a "one click forum" message board on my website, but I want it to open in a new window instead of the one my website is in because I can't put a link to my homepage on it. I thought about using frames and decided not to, because then I would have to put them all over my site and I am happy with CSS. How do I write HTML to open the link in a new window?

2)I want people to be able to print flyers from .pdf files they can download from my website. I could make a black and white page without my banner or anything else, but I would rather have people download the document so they can see a print preview, etc. If the file is "flyer1.pdf", how do I write the code for that?

Re: 2 Questions about HTML

I found the answer to question #1 at http://www.echoecho.com/htmllinks10.htm. The solution is to put [target="_blank"] inside the <a> tag.

Still waiting for an answer to question 2...

Re: 2 Questions about HTML

Just create an anchor to the pdf file. This will either cause it to display in the browser if they have the acrobat reader plugin, or it will download the file to their hard drive.
