New to OpenGLDoes OpenGL need some special program installed on a computer to run programs made with it?
If not then what does it run in? Also I would like to know where is the best place to learn OpenGL from. I am working with VC++ 2008 express on windows vista. |

Yes and/or no. OpenGL libraries may be statically linked to the application, but usually are not. Therefore, you would likely need the libraries used by the application. These must be accessible to your program loader at runtime. Quote:
