SMTP on php.iniI am new to PHP and I don't know why I am having such a problem with this, any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to send mail using a PHP program, but I am having a very difficult time with it. I think what must be going wrong is that I have my SMTP identified wrong in my php.ini file, but I am not sure how to write it right. When I try to send e-mails the connection just times out. I have been trying to find the right connection to a server in my Outlook Express account, but that has the same problem. I am not sure if there is a file on my computer that would give me this information. How do I find the server address? There are a few sites online that list "common" servers for SMTP, but none of them are mine (I use AT&T Gateway, and I am on a wireless connection). Thanks. |

Re: SMTP on php.iniNevermind, I just didn't restart Apache.
I spent, like, 5 HOURS looking for help online. That sucks. |
