Detecting Monitor is On or OffHello everyone,
I m writing a c program to detect whether monitor is on or off, but have no clue where to start from. In linux there is utility ddcprobe which detects the hardware status , but it works only when we completely disconnect the monitor or power cable of monitor. So if anyone has any ideas please help. Thanks. |

Re: Detecting Monitor is On or OffCPP / C++ / C Code:
If the monitor is on, you'll see the words "the monitor is on" on the screen. If the monitor is off, you won't. __________________

Re: Detecting Monitor is On or OffI am not sure but I think using ROM-BIOS routine is possible to know if status is on or off. I do not have codes directly with me now but let me work on it!
