Question

no signal to monitor

i have recently built a new computer. It has an msi micro atx mobo with a celeron 2.4 cpu, 80 gb seagate harddrive and 512 mb ram. When there is NOTHING plugged into the ide slots, the computer boots and shows the cpu speed and how much memory there is but gets no further and i cannot get into the bios settings as the keyboard will not work. But as soon as ANYTHING is plugged into the ide slots or even just a cable, the computer boots but sends nothing to the screen.

Help please!

Is it regular ide or RAID? Have you tried multiple ide cables and different devices?

You need a keyboard that works as you gotta get a look at the bios.
