C++ with SQL?

I am working on a login page and I wanted to know if C++ is SQL compatable or if there might be an easier way of doing it.

If you are asking whether you can write an application in C++ which can connect to a database from an established vendor (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Postgres...) & manipulate its contents, the answer is yes, but you will need to utilize libraries which translate/communicate to the database in the format(s) that it knows. Most of the major vendors supply libraries which will talk to their products. In fact, they want as many people to talk to their products as possible, because this is what helps build market share.

If your question is about something else, you will to further clarify your intent.
