Getting Hitman: Codename 47 to run on Windows XP

A few days ago I decided after playing Mafia for a little while that I wanted to install and play Hitman. Well I installed the game and patch it. But when I tried to run the game XP wouldn’t I kept getting a error after researching the problem and a trip to the official website I was informed that they were aware of the problem but had no plans to fix it. Great so after a few colorful words and more research I was able to fix the problem. The NO CD Crack for the game will or at least in my case worked and I can now play the game on XP. I would also like to say please don’t ask for any links has I can’t help you there.

All you should have to do is fing the No CD Crack for the game you can search google.com for the No CD once you have the file save your old exe and then replace it with the one that you downloaded and that should do it. Let me know if this helps.

I haven't tried it on this particular game, but Dungeon Keeper 2 had a similar problem... you could get a tool called DaemonTools (serach daemon-tools in google), which will mount the cd image from you hard drive (that is if you can make an image of the disc). A good option to searching down no-cd cracks that can often just not work...

I have yet to find a virtual cd program that will work. The game gives similar errors. If you have daemon tools or alcohol 120 installed it will tell you to unmount the cd and insert the cd. Just thought you might want to know.
