favorites icon on Freeservers?Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to get a favicon to show in Freeservers? I've been through all the basics that should work. Even javascript to "make sure" the icon loads. Nothing! I'm not sure if its Freeservers or not, even though I am upgrading to a premium package. Let me know. Thanks in advance. Elliott |

If Javascript and the regular favicon.ico doesn't work, then I wouldn't try to force it. Try contacting them to see what their official position on the whole favicon thing is. Most free webhosts will say that it doesn't support the *.ico file (usually they have a Accepted file format list like this one from Geocites at http://us.geocities.yahoo.com/v/filetypes.html ), and I have run in to hosts that say that it takes bandwidth and the only files they serve is ASCII and Flash/Image Binarys. But Don't push it too far and if they offer to show you, then take the offer because they know more about their own webservers than you do.
