Hello everyone ,
I newly turned my work from BCC55 to Dev-Cpp due to getting some toolkit with opengl.
Alright, I have installed Dev-Cpp staff and all opengl lib that I want and it works well, but the problem is that Dev-Cpp deal the libraries that has extension .a instead of .lib.
Basically, .lib libraries should work by having them in the suitable directories : I mean (include , lib) and if they don't work we can add them something like that:
1. first you open your code:

2. right click on project to get the property page parameters

3. press Add library or object

at this window we can see that .a and .lib are allowed

that what I think ,but actually I have a library for " Approximate Nearest Neighbor " ann library and I led the instructions for getting this library with Dev-Cpp but actually it doesn't work , and precisely the make file of that library doesn't work......:
1 . including the library well
2 . but trying to use its functions not work
and I have this error message:


I think, it is related to compiling the make file of these functions and at this point I couldn't figure out the solution because I don't have a lot of experience with make files and convert them
Can and one please give me how can I overcome this step, it really stopped every thing at this point. If there is any of my problem is not clear just ask me to make it clearer
