I build my own computer a few months ago. i have an amd xp3000 ~2.2 GHz processor. That's what it was running at up until i formatted my computer a few days ago. Now it's only registering 1.3 GHz. I have an M848 mobo as well.

Second of all, the reason i formatted my computer is because i got a new ATI Radeon 9600 pro video card, and i was having problems with that as well. i kept my screen keeps freezing up and saying "VPU Recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands"

I'd apreciate any help or input you could give me.

ok well i figuredo ut the processor problem, but i still can't get the video card to work correctly.

Even if someone could tell me what would cause my graphics accelerator to not respond to the driver commands, or what either of those things are specifically that'd help.
